Thinking about going out for a little shopping therapy?
Ponder this: According to the ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) , for every one truck load of goods manufactured, 32 truckloads of waste are produced That is a staggering ratio, folks... 1 to 32!
And then consider this, 90% of everything manufactured in this country ends up in the landfills within one year! Since I live within a mile of a landfill that fact disturbs me as much as the "American inherent right " to consume .
Be creative, use what you have, salvage, trade. Save $$$. Save the environment.
